Advising and Course Registration
The Orientation Tile in MyUI must be completed wat least one week prior to your orientation dates. About one week prior to your chosen dates, you will select a one hour Advising and Course Registration appointment. Your virtual meeting will be 1:1 meeting via Zoom with your academic advisor who will help you select and register for classes.
Complete your Orientation Tile in MyUI
Spring Orientation is a virtual process made up of pre-advising modules and a Zoom meeting with your advisor. Prior to your orientation week, you must complete the Orientation Tile in MyUI. Beginning November 15, if you have selected your Orientation dates, you can begin working on the Orientation Tile. This is where you will find placement exam information, modules from your academic college, and information on University policies and procedures. The Orientation Tile will help you learn how to search for courses and prepare you for your Orientation Registration Advising Appointment. The tile must be completed at least one week prior to your selected orientation dates.

New students sign up for orientation dates beginning October 16, for spring semester. Choose a week in which you will complete your advising and course registration appointment.
