An Interview with Paige...
What advice would you share with a new student about their first year at the University of Iowa?
There are so many things to get involved in. Find out information about what you are interested in getting involved in and then narrow it down. Pick what you are passionate about. It is more fun to be highly invested in a few student organizations or clubs than to be overwhelmed with activities and not be able to be as invested as you would like.
How did you decide on your major?
I decided on my major by taking classes in a variety of majors and then deciding on what I liked and what I did not like. It is absolutely OKAY to not know what you want to major in when you come into the University of Iowa.
How are you involved within the University and/or greater Iowa City community?
I am an executive member of the Iowa Women's Club Volleyball team, I work at the Iowa Hawk Shop, I volunteer at an Iowa City food rescue organization, I coach volleyball at a local middle school, and I attend university and Iowa City community events.
